I have tried other diesel tuning boxes for my previous vehicles (Kia Sorento, Peugeot 206 and Vauxhall Vectra)... and they all produced slight engine stuttering under certain load conditions. The CHIP Express system does not show any evidence of this and is equal to the likes of an ECU remap (which I have also had done before) for smoothness and noticeable power gains. This would be the only diesel tuning product I would recommend.

My mechanic who fitted it (he couldn’t resist doing the job, once I showed him the unit) reckons the performance has markedly improved. She gets off the mark a lot better and most importantly, the big hill that I have to go up everyday to work is now no prob. Before fitting I could only go up at a max speed of 80kms, yesterday took her up the hill, with no run up at the bottom and she zoomed up at 105-110 kms at 3000 revs no problem. Cheers guys!

When I pull off on an uphill, the revs are low because there's enough power. It doesn't have to rev high to pull off. Additionally, it doesn't have to continually shift gears in hilly areas. It's so dramatic, that my wife commented that the car is completely different. She's actually now enjoying the drive. Honestly, an exceptional difference. I am amazed at how instant the power is with very little if none turbo lag depending on the initial speed and gear. The past week I was testing fuel consumption and I also found it to be better. From 8.2km/l up to 9km/l for my normal city driving. I have to say I had to hold back from stepping on the throttle just to experience the instant power surge. Great product and worth talking about.

Service is impeccable and the resulting driving experience second to none. I've used CHIP Express units on an Audi A4, Range Rover Sport, Ford S-Max and a Mazda 6 and in each instance enjoyed improved mpg and drivability. For me it's not about creating a hot rod but rather enjoying the incremental torque (I tow frequently). I have never had a technical issue or any concerns that would prevent me installing the CHIP Express on my new motor but like the fact that the chips are easy to remove too. If your hesitating on purchasing, don't! I am looking forward to continuing my enjoyable experience.
