I have had multiple services at BMW service centres over the last 5 years and removed the unit beforehand (just in case) and they have never noticed. I'm not sure if they have an issue with these kits or not, but my experience with BMW is that they'll do anything to get out of a warranty repair, so just to be on the safe side. CHIP Express on the otherhand have given absolutely amazing customer service and support. This is hugely appreciated and gives me further confidence in the product and company, I will never run a turbo diesel without one again!

Whilst decent enough, there was considerable piston slap under hard acceleration. The CHIP Express tuning system provided a much quieter and smoother power and torque delivery without fuss! The system is intelligent in the way it soon adapts to your driving style and the way the vehicle is being driven so you do not get the sudden jolt you might get with other boxes under hard acceleration. I am really impressed with the overall performance of my 3-series and I think you set the benchmark for diesel tuning systems. The CHIP Express system is indeed a template for diesel performance enthusiasts. It really is that good. I rest my case!

During the past week I tried the various settings and have had positive results with all levels. Fuel economy has only improved approximately two percent at highest setting, probably because the increased power entices me to drive more quickly. Recommended for the F10 520D!

It got me thinking and my search started for a reputable product to fit to my one year old car. I was a bit nervous but ordered the chip on Friday and was delivered 9am Saturday morning. The photo guidance is really easy to follow and everything just clicked in. I took it for an initial drive round the block on and checked for engine lights or black smoke, but things were good. I've been on two out of town trips since the weekend and not only noticed the extra torque (car will accelerate from 40mph in sixth gear) but my MPG has gone from 52 to 61. The way the car drives has completely changed as the power range, it used to be mostly between 2000 to 3000 revs, and it now drives more like petrol cars I've had with revs going all the way to 5000 without straining. Now when I put it in sport mode it takes off like a bat out of hell! Thank you!

Having had the chip retuned, it is now fitted to my BMW X1 25d xDrive M-Sport and after 5 days I have once again moved to the top position. The results are obvious, in acceleration, fuel economy and outright performance. I would recommend this "CHIP Express" upgrade chip to anyone AND by removing chip and attached connectors the car is returned to factory delivered state with NO evidence of chip installation. The exchange of correspondence has also been excellent. Great company, highly recommended.
