Land Rover Diesel Tuning Chips

A friend recommended one of your "gadgets" a year ago and being not-very-techno (but Scottish and keen to save money!) I bought one. The gizmo has TRANSFORMED the performance of my Land Rover Freelander 2 TD4 AND improved the fuel economy by a genuine 15%; so much so that I have bought another one for our Freelander 2 SD4 which is now a REAL Q-car! (And of course saves fuel...) I have never written a review before (though strangely I do read them and take notice of them, whilst half-believing that they are written by the owner's chums!) so to have made me pick up pen & paper so to speak - I MUST be delighted! Thanks for making technology so simple and so successful!

May I congratulate you on this diesel tuning product as it has made a noticeable difference to my Land Rover Discovery. I have tried other diesel tuning boxes for my previous vehicles (Kia Sorento, Peugeot 206 and Vauxhall Vectra)... and they all produced slight engine stuttering under certain load conditions. The Chip Express system does not show any evidence of this and is equal to the likes of an ECU remap (which I have also had done before) for smoothness and noticeable power gains. This would be the only diesel tuning product I would recommend.

I have just fitted your chip today and what can I say? What a difference! It feels like a new car now, no more turbo lag - it now just keeps pulling, a total joy to drive. I am now looking forward to a long drive... anyone who is thinking about getting a Chip Express system should do it, you will not be disappointed!

I am very pleased with the new unit you supplied for my Land Rover. Since I fitted it about 2 months ago when the average fuel consumption, indicated by the on-board computer, was 25.6 mpg, it is now at 33.5 and still climbing. In addition the extra power is significant and adds to the comfort and safety of the car. I would also like to express my appreciation for the prompt and first class service provided by CHIP Express.

Fitted the unit with no problems using the very easy to follow instructions, first drive and the difference is obvious, vehicle has much more power, pulls better through the gears, making the vehicle a much smoother and enjoyable drive. Less gear changes required as a result in much better torque.

Ordered the chip 4.30pm Friday and it arrived Saturday morning. Could not be happier with the service and my car which now drives so much better! Thanks

The chip took just minutes to plug-in using the simple to follow instructions. I started the engine up and took it for a test drive. I felt the difference going uphill straight out of my driveway on route to the main highway, before I knew it I was in sixth gear and cruising along at 75kph at slightly below 1500 RPM. It was like driving a different car. Great product, my money was well spent!

Received my tuning box today, fitted in minutes then tested it, WOW, absolutely fantastic! Smooth, quiet, awesome torque! Worth every penny, can not wait to tow my caravan with it! Best MPG before was 42MPG, today 52.4MPG. I did not just get a tuning box, I got what feels like a completely new car! Many congratulations on such a superb device.

Packaging was great and met my expectations and reflected the quality of the product. The instructions were awesome. Pictures were exact, location of the plug precise - it literally took me 5 minutes. Next, the test drive, no warning lights or any abnormalities experienced on start-up. The clutch/ throttle jerk has disappeared almost entirely. Acceleration is smooth and quicker. Revs are available earlier and for longer also assisting with smoother gear shifting. Quieter at higher speeds. Far better pull on the big hills and obviously it’s quite a bit quicker. In a nutshell and bearing in mind it's still early days, I am very satisfied and the tuning chip has delivered bang on expectation.

Fitted a CHIP Express module to my TDV8 last week... WOW!!! What a difference... the lift from standstill is fantastic almost makes me forget how good the Audi S8 was... a cinch to fit, even I managed to plug it in which is amazing considering how useless I am mechanically. I have never been very sure about these after market devices that promise amazing results but have to say that so far I'm impressed... My real time MPG was averaging 18.9 before and now that has risen to bang on 21 which admittedly is not a huge saving but to get even a small increase in MPG for such a large increase in performance has definitely made the initial outlay worthwhile and I suppose makes this one of my better decisions.

I have fitted your unit and just come back from a short drive, WOW, it is smoother, more responsive and also faster. Just what I had hoped, fitting was straight forward due to excellent instructions and photos. I look forward to driving my Freelander to Birmingham on Saturday. Thank you for the prompt delivery!
