Fine Tuning
All chips come pre-set for optimal power and economy so adjustment is not necessary: you can simply plug-in and enjoy! Not all vehicles will achieve Max figures when on a higher setting, most standard vehicles will achieve a power between After and Max figures. To fine-tune your system simply press the HIGH or LOW buttons on the keypad to make small incremental adjustments above or below the supplied setting, easy to do and fully explained in instructions supplied.

Unlike "generic" diesel tuning systems, this advanced, self fit chip will be programmed specifically to optimise your Audi Q5 MK1 3.0 TDI. Vehicle manufacturers are forced to compromise when they set up the engine's ECU, to create vehicles which will operate in a wide variety of markets and conditions.

Covered 1800 miles prior to fitting the CHIP Express. Installation procedure very straightforward. First impressions, engine noise is decreased and appreciable improved low down torque. Tested it in different Driver Select programme modes from Efficiency thought to Dynamic. Certainly, urban (around town) commuting will benefit from using less throttle for increased power output resulting in improved economy. Tempted to try higher power engine modes, but for the time being supplied settings suffice. Fast delivery as indicated on website, clear instructions, supportive helpdesk.
I first researched such chips when Audi kindly announced the soon to be released SQ5, as they were getting so much more BHP out of the same engine by way of a twin turbo. I looked at various companies, but I am so happy I came across CHIP Express as it has completely transformed my car, both in terms of power and economy. I actually wasn’t that bothered about the economy and was sceptical that (on standard setting, as I have left it) I would increase from 240bhp to 280bhp and also see an improvement in economy, but as soon as the chip was fitted (which took 5 minutes) the car was noticeably more powerful! It also has much smoother and quieter gear changes, especially at slow speeds, which seems crazy in a new car? In “sport” the performance seems monstrous for an SUV, whilst still being smoother and quieter! Economy – now the best bit is the bit I was least bothered about! My economy on daily commutes (short and medium runs) has seen the average go from 27mpg to 33mpg. That means instead of 540 miles from a full tank I’m up to 660 miles! Quite simply this is the best money I have ever spend on any gadget for any car. Even my wife loves it and she fell out with me when I placed my order. I would never have another diesel car without fitting one of these chips and cannot recommend then highly enough.
I ordered a chip for my Audi Q5. I was immediately impresses by the packaging which reminded me of the same quality and attention that Apple employ for products such as their iPhone's. The instructions which included photos of my specific engine made fitting an absolute doddle. And the results? The engine feels much more eager and responsive when you put your foot down as the extra horses and increased torque kick in. It works perfectly with my 7 speed DSG gearbox which is clever enough to change up or down dependant on engine load, and now it seems to select a higher gear at lower speeds than before, less throttle is needed for normal driving which had my average economy edging toward 40mpg (normally 32mpg) for an urban journey of less than 12 miles. Looking forwards to seeing if I can better my 43mpg on a run from Hampshire to Cornwall in a few weeks. Think I'll leave the chip on the supplied setting as so far it's giving me everything I'd hoped for.
Being a service provider myself I just wanted to say how pleased I am with the chip. My god, what a difference! Much more responsive with a much fatter torque curve. Even though I ordered late in the day the kit was here the next day. It was a 5 minute job to fit. With regard to the price, in 2004 I spent £3600 to have a John Cooper Works kit fitted to my Cooper S Mini for the same increase in power! A great bit of kit CHIP Express - well done!
I purchased a chip from you early last month. Sadly I fell and broke my ankle the day after I fitted it so I couldn't drive for 5 weeks. I would just like to say Wow! It has totally transformed the car. In particular the slow speed driving is much smoother, the car does not hunt for gears as much and the economy is amazing. “As do many, I took the 'if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is' approach to performance chips. But CHIP Express were recommended by an impeccable source who had had experience with their product on my model of car - a Citroën C6 with the 2.7 HDi twin turbo diesel. Following a first rate response to a query, the product has delivered in spades. Ten days and more than 1000 miles of mixed town, country, low and high speed driving later I am certainly getting more than 10% more from a gallon, and probably 15%, and the performance is markedly better. Low speed response is immediate and has eradicated what I took to be baked-in lag in a big automatic turbo diesel, and mid-range acceleration is silky smooth, including up inclines.
