From the outset the technicians at CHIP Express gave me honest impartial advice about the benefits of fitting a quality tuning chip with a program written specifically for my engine. I was told that if I was not satisfied with the results I could return the chip and get a full refund. The technicians assured me that fitting was simple and they would provide photographic step by step instructions and if necessary they would talk me through the installation by phone. I easily installed the chip by following the instructions in under five minutes. It took longer to make the wiring safe and tidy and locate the chip box in a dry place. I then took my motorhome on a 1,380 round trip from Scotland to England. As the trip progressed the engine became smoother and quieter with a noticeable increase in torque, which in turn gave me much better fuel consumption as less throttle was required. I was very pleased with the results which to me appeared as if a bigger more powerful engine had been fitted overnight. A friend of mine is a partner in a taxi firm in Hampshire, he was so impressed with the change in my motorhome's performance and fuel economy he now intends to fit units to all his taxis. We had some very long trips, e.g. all the way to Sicily and back, with no problems. In 2013 we transferred the module to a new Ducato X250, with the same improvements. The vehicle does a steady 31 mpg and is a pleasure to drive. Recently a fault arose and as a precaution we got CHIP Express to test the module. Nothing wrong with it. Excellent customer service (which is a lot more than I can say for Fiat!).
